GET INVOLVED: 25 Greatest Moments In The History of Survivor!
The new year is upon us and as we eagerly await the 26th season, we thought what better time than to look back at 25 seasons worth of memories and find out what is the best moment to have come from the juggernaut of reality TV. And as always, we want YOU to get involved in help decide the results!
Back in September we held our first annual Survivor Oz poll, where we got you to vote on everything from the greatest ever player to the greatest season. But what moments are the best in the history of the show? Is there a particular tribal council that stands out? A confessional that you think should be number one? Maybe a challenge? Even a Jeff Probst moment that should be ranked accordingly? Well now you have the opportunity to vote for any moment you think is worthy to make the top 25!
All you need to do is send in your three most memorable moments in the history of the show that you think are deserving of the greatest moment and we will tally up the results to find out what YOU think are the 25 greatest moments! You need to vote them in order as well, so your number one moment will get 3 points, your number 2 moment will get 2 votes and your number 3 moment will get 1 vote. For example, you would email us with a list of 3 saying: 1. Sue Hawk Tribal Council Speech 2. Rupert stealing the shoes 3. Billy Garcia declaring his love for Candice in Cook Islands and each would get 3 points, 2 points and 1 point respectively. If you vote for 2 for the top moment, whichever moment you vote for first will get the three votes, so please ensure you vote three separate moments in three separate areas. You can send in any three moments, as long as they appeared during an airing of an episode. Unfortunately deleted scenes, Ponderosa videos or interviews/events outside the show do not count.
To get them into us, you can either email them to us at survivoroz@hotmail.com.au, comment to this post or send them to us via our Contact Us page. Voting closes on January 25th at 12am AEST and we will reveal the results during a live episode the following week and publish them online, with a video to go with them!

1) Sue Hawk’s FTC speech. It was probably the most famous ‘moment’ from the show’s biggest watercooler season. Everyone knew that speech.

1. The greatest example of Survivor mind control: Erik giving up his immunity necklace in Fans vs Favorites and then immediately getting voted out!
2. The greatest (and most influential) use of immunity idols: Parvati getting Russell to give him TWO of his immunity idols (that alone is amazing) and then she gave two idols to Sandra and Jerri to blindside JT. Perhaps the single best episode of Survivor ever.
3. Russell Hantz. Everything from stepping foot on Samoa in season 19 to crying his way out on Season 22. He will probably never win – but there has never been anyone else like him on Survivor… no one else even comes close!
1. G Sizzle get’s lost and no one can find him for the reward challenge in Gabon.
2. Mitchell gets blindsided and betrayed by Tina in Australia leaving viewers at their Wit’s End.
3.Amanda and Danielle fight over a Hidden Immunity Idol clue while film buff Colby Donaldson ignores the situation as he watches Treasure Island with baited breath.
3. Natalie White winning Samoa (mainly because I felt vindicated since I was one of the few who could tell that Natalie was going to win and no one believed me)

1. Amanda blindsiding Alexis
#1,2 and 3. During the family visit in RI Natalie Tenerelli mom was asking her about how much weight she has lost. Nat then turns around and gives her perfect butt a smack right to the camera. Single greatest moment not just in survivor history but TV history.

1. Flood in Australia. Mike may have shown that the show was real, but this was the first time we saw that the show as a whole was a true battle to survive.
2. Tribe swap in Africa. Helped the show to become unpredictable, and made sure that no survivor would ever become complacent again – or at least punish those who did sevrely
3. First challenge in Guatemala. We haven’t seen another test of endurance even remotely close to this since then.
