Bob Crowley won the 17th season in Gabon and became the first ever winner to appear on our show. As part of the ‘onion alliance’ with fellow tribe mates Jacquie, Marcus, Charlie & Corinne, Bob soon became a force to be reckoned with, and surprised many by making it right through to the end of the game.
As the oldest ever winner of Survivor, Bob won the competition at the impressive age of 57. Known for his bowtie, Bob’s strength and his loyalty to his onion alliance, Bob still found himself on the outs once the merge came. However down to some clever strategy involving making an incredible looking fake immunity idol as well as a mini-winning streak, Bob found himself in the final three where we would defeat both Susie Smith & Jessica ‘Sugar’ Kiper in a 4-3-0 vote. Crowley would also become the first ever winner to win the fan favourite award.
In our interview we chat to Bob about his onion alliance, his time on the show and his various charitable efforts outside of the game. We also hear from two very special people in his life, in his wife Peggy and daughter Page!
