Getting on the show not by applying nor being recruited but by winning a nationwide search for a Survivor contestant, James ‘Jimmy T’ Tarantino was a strong voice in the early parts of the 21st season in Nicaragua but found himself often on the outs with his tribe. Despite being voted out early in the game, Jimmy came home to a warm reception and continues to fight for causes that are dear to him in his local community.
Starting off as an underdog on the Espada tribe, Jimmy often put his tribe mates uneasy as his strong personality came to the force. After asking to be put in a ‘leadership’ role in challenges, it all soon became too much for his tribe and he was voted out in the game before really getting a true chance to shine.
In our interview with Jimmy, he speaks about the unusual method it took for him to get on the show, the life changing experience it was being on the game and why he never believed people who said that before he went on the show, what he thinks about Marty, whether or not Fabio was a deserving winner of the game, wanting to go back and play again and his thoughts on the most recent season of One World.
