As somebody who was destined for fame before her time on the show, Whitney Duncan was a big fan of Survivor before her time on the 23rd season of South Pacific and she could never imagine how much her life would change after a few weeks on an island in the middle of nowhere. From a budding country music career to controversy surrounding her relationship with fellow contestant Keith after the show, Whitney has faced it all after Survivor and for the first ever time opens up about what really happened with her marriage as well as finding her soul mate on the show. Oh, and everything related to a certain Cochran as well.
Getting herself into a strong place on the Savaii tribe, things looked like they were going well for Whitney alongside her alliance of Keith and Ozzy and Jim. However as the merge came and the infamous ‘Cochran flip’ happened, things turned against her and she was unable to remain in the game and was defeated on redemption island and joined the jury.
In our interview with Whitney, she talks about going out there to win, still being upset about Cochran’s flip to this day, how family issues at home effected her emotional during her time on the show, meeting her ‘soul mate’ in Samoa, over thinking certain moves, her approach and deal with Ozzy, her thoughts on Coach & Brandon, being a fan of the show, how she was nearly on Redemption Island, as well as Edna’s creams actually working and opening up for the first time about her marriage and everything that happened afterwards and with Keith!
