The results are in for the biggest Survivor poll of all time, and over the next 6 days we’ll be bringing you the results for each of the categories we asked you to vote in! 551 of you voted in our public poll, and combined with the thoughts of the Survivor Oz team as well as the Survivor contestants who have been on this show, we bring you the most comprehensive results in a Survivor poll that has ever been conducted! And we kick things off today with the results of who you think is the hottest Survivor male of all time!

25. Mike Chiesl (Redemption Island) – 5 Votes

Finishing 6th on what is widely considered one of the worst seasons of all time, Mike still managed to catch the eye of the viewers with his chiselled cheeks and buff body. The former marine and Iraq War veteran was a key decision maker in getting rid of Russell, and was always apart of the majority Zapatera alliance. After the merge he still remained popular, and it appears that just over a year from his season airing, he remains popular amongst the viewers as well!

 

24. Grant Mattos (Redemption Island) – 5 Votes

Another man from Redemption Island, proving that perhaps while the season itself wasn’t popular, the gawk factor was! The former NFL player with his dreadlocks and chest that you could grate cheese off had the ladies and men’s hearts a flutter, and you ranked him as the 24th sexiest male in Survivor history!

 

23. Benjamin ‘Coach’ Wade (Tocantins, Heroes vs Villains & South Pacific) – 5 votes

Is this a ‘surprise’ to see Coach on this list? Well not according to at least 5 of you! Maybe it’s his mysterious back story, the fact he can survive the Amazon rainforest by himself, or maybe it’s his dragon slayer ways. Whatever it is, he speaks volumes when it comes to Survivor viewers in terms of ‘sexiness’!

 

22. Ben ‘Benry’ Henry (Nicaragua) – 5 Votes

One of most popular guests on the show, Benry also isn’t the hardest person to stare at when watching 20 American’s survive in the middle of the Nicaraguan jungle. Outside of the show he is a bar owner, so that just goes to show that if you get on his good books, you can score yourself plenty of free drinks! And anybody who can successfully mix his first and last names together to form a new name definitely oozes sex appeal!

 

21. JP Calderon (Cook Islands) – 6 Votes

Is there anything JP hasn’t done? Professional Volleyball player, model, reality TV star outside of Survivor? Well one thing he definitely has done is caught the eye of the viewers, despite being one of the first booted from the 13th season of Cook Islands. Just goes to show what a few days in the middle of the South Pacific can do when it comes to showing off just how sexy you are!

 

20. Burton Roberts (Pearl Islands) – 7 Votes

Burton created history in Survivor by being the first person voted out twice in the same season. He also created history by, well, catching your eye in our Survivor sexy male poll! It isn’t really history, but we just thought we would make it sound a bit special! Maybe it’s his chest hair? Or the fact that he is clearly popular enough to be voted back into a game he was voted out of? 7 of you clearly agree he is a sexy man beast!

 

19. Yul Kwon (Cook Islands) – 8 Votes

Often considered ‘boring’ by some, Yul definitely isn’t boring to look at! One of only 6 winners on this list to walk away with $1 million as well as millions of viewer’s hearts, Yul appeals to many with his body, face and personality. $1 million is of course a big attraction too! Such a shame he is married now, right?

 

18. Brady Finta (Vanuatu) – 8 Votes

Another early boot from an earlier season, 8 of you definitely remember Brady for a whole lot more than being kicked off before the merge. Is it his young boyish looks? His personality? Or his alpha male appeal? We’ll let you be the judge, but Brady did enough to crack the top 20!

 

17. James Clement (China, Micronesia & Heroes vs Villains) – 9 Votes

Oh James. You may have started off your Survivor journey going home in a ‘dumb move’, and then came back to hurt your finger of all things and go home again. Then come back as a ‘hero’ before acting like a ‘villain’ and hurting yourself again. But you left one image that will be burnt into our heads for a long time: ABS. And by god do you have some. Male or female. Gay or straight. Everyone just wants to marvel at your 6 pack and imagine what it would be like to drip hot chocolate all over your body. Well, at least 9 of our listeners do.

 

16. Chase Rice (Nicaragua) – 9 Votes

Being a runner-up doesn’t spell ‘loser’ to many, in fact to 9 of you it spells the complete opposite. A country singer that knows how to do more than sing the blues, Chase definitely would be a dream catch for at least 9 of you, and certainly spending time on the back of a truck with a dog is sounding a whole lot of fun with those looks!

 

15. Keith Famie (Australian Outback) – 10 Votes

Is this the biggest surprise of the poll? Are 10 of you taking the piss? Well we like to think positive here at Survivor Oz! Why shouldn’t Keith be the 15th sexiest Survivor male of all time? I mean the silver hair, the body, the fact he is romantic enough to propose to his girlfriend on the other side of the world at an internet café or even the fact he is a chef that can’t cook rice. They are all sexy features that clearly appeal to 10 of you!

 

14. Tyson Apostol (Tocantins & Heroes vs Villains) – 10 Votes

Tyson is one of a kind. Really, that’s just being nice. One of the kookiest Mormons you will ever meet, Tyson has enough going for him in the looks department to really appeal to most. Maybe it is the ‘crazy’ factor that appeals to you. Or the fact that he can dance around in a head dress and a loin cloth but still is perceived as smart? 10 of you want him enough to find out!

 

13. Marcus Lehman (Gabon) – 10 Votes

If you had your penis shown on camera for the world to see, of course you would expect to be on a list of 25 sexiest male Survivor contestants of all time wouldn’t you? I mean what a perfect introduction to your personality, having your manhood on display for everyone to see without even going out on a date. Oh, and he is a doctor as well. So the big packages just keep on coming don’t they?

 

12. John Kenney (Vanuatu) – 10 Votes

2 votes away from the jury and it’s safe to assume that John Kenny probably assumed he would never be thought of again when it came to Survivor. Well John thought wrong, as 10 of you scraped John just outside the top 10! So close again to an important milestone, and again by one 2 votes! Oh well John, at least let the 10 people who voted for you stare!

 

11. John Fincher (Samoa) – 10 Votes

John Fincher was no slouch at playing Survivor. In fact had he been on any other season but Russellmoa then perhaps he would be remembered for a lot more than just being sexy. No matter how he is remembered, 10 of you like him enough to just miss out on the top 10. As a rocket scientist though, you know his brains make up enough for it.

 

10. Matt Quinlan (One World) – 11 Votes

‘The rooster’ is in the house and cracks the top 10! The newest season of One World is obviously known for a lot more than the C word and the K word, and it’s a case of another early boot still being memorable enough for you to gawk and stare at. 11 of you would no doubt like to be sued by this lawyer, or at least be involved in some form of debate. Just stare away without objecting, and just objectify!

When was the last time you could say “damn that Aras I know is sexy!” Maybe it’s because it isn’t the most common name in the baby name book, but sexy looks plus $1 million in his bank account certainly appeals to 12 of you! Just imagine getting married to him and getting your surname to ‘Baskauskas’! Now there would be a fun name to put on application forms!

Southern gentlemen obviously have a strong appeal to many of you, and this 2 time player isn’t afraid to show off his charm. You know he isn’t a quitter and will fight to the death to stay in the game, and getting a TV career after his stint on Survivor definitely shows you he has confidence. And as the 8th sexiest Survivor male of all time, who are we to argue?

 

7. Rob Mariano (Marquesas, All-Stars, Heroes vs Villains & Redemption Island) – 14 Votes

The only 4 time player in the history of Survivor and often revered as one of the best, Boston Rob clearly appeals to enough of you to rank highly as a sexy player as well as a great player. Amber saw it, so clearly people aren’t blind! You know he is rich, you know he can lie to you and get away with it and you also know his ‘robfather’ personality that we’re sure translates into other areas as well. One for those of you who like to be controlled!

 

6. James ‘J.T’ Thomas (Tocantins & Heroes vs Villains) – 16 Votes

J.T is the sole occupant of the ‘perfect game’ club. Clearly to 16 of you, that is enough to rank as the 6th sexiest male of all time. Once again though, we obviously have to say the southern appeal is enough as well. Oh, and come on, he isn’t that bad to look at. A million dollars too is a safety net, and although he is capable of writing stupid letters, his ‘Jesus’ like ability (thanks Erinn) suits people enough to want to consider him a sexy man!

 

5. Ethan Zohn (Africa & All-Stars) – 17 Votes

The earliest winner on this show, Ethan clearly is a sexy millionaire who to 17 of you aren’t afraid of some tough competition from one Jenna Morasca. You know he is a Survivor in every sense of the word, and his generous charitable nature too is definitely a big appeal. He can also play soccer, and can grow an awesome hairdo. Let’s be honest: who wouldn’t want a date with Ethan?

 

4. Jud ‘Fabio’ Birza (Nicaragua) – 18 Votes

Fabio by name, Fabio by nature. This model walked away with $1 million and it may have come as a surprise to some, but he still makes 18 of you excited enough to make the top 5 sexiest males of all time! Those long blonde locks, those eyes, that body and of course that ‘goofy’ personality. It’s enough to make you want to skateboard down the middle of the road and get arrested, isn’t it?!

 

3. Oscar ‘Ozzy’ Lusth (Cook Islands, Micronesia & South Pacific) – 25 Votes

Once again it appears the story of Ozzy’s life in the Survivor world is to get so close to the top, but never walk away with the ultimate prize. And once again we see that with our sexiest Survivor poll, with the bronze going to Mr.Lusth! This three time contestant is sort of like the ‘Madonna’ or Survivor; changing his look for every season he has been on. Do you prefer the ‘Jesus’ look from South Pacific or maybe the short haired Micronesia Ozzy? 25 of you don’t care really, he is just SEXY!

 

2. Jay Byars (One World) – 28 Votes

Isn’t it amazing how somebody from the newest season can make it so high on the least? Or maybe it’s amazing to some of you that he didn’t walk away with 1st in our poll? Whatever the case, Jay left an impression on 28 of you and he takes the silver in our first ever sexy man poll! We knew he would be high up, as the amount of marriage proposals we received for him before our interview was through the roof! Maybe his appeal to our Australian listeners rubbed off after he declared he would love to marry one of us? Or maybe he is just so sexy that you don’t care?! Whatever the case is, Jay walks away with a higher position than he achieved on the actual show!

 

1. Colby Donaldson (Australian Outback, All-Stars & Heroes vs Villains) – 69 Votes

The battle for the top spot was a one horse race. Not even close. Never in doubt. Who else would it be other than everyone’s favourite cowboy? The three time Texan who at one stage played ‘the dumbest move in the history of the show’? It may have been sad to see the ‘fall of Colby’ over three seasons, but rewind back to season 2 and remember how sexy he was? Remember how charming he was? Remember how loyal he was? This is the guy who wasn’t afraid to shed a tear over his mum, before spending date night with her in the middle of the Australian Outback. And you also know he is a bit of an ‘outlaw’ who isn’t afraid to break Federal law just to bring you a piece of coral. But remember, he ‘ain’t no Hershey bar’!
