Survivor Oz Top 10–Top 10 Natural Beauties

Wednesday means SURVIVOR OZ TOP TEN’s right? It sure does! After several weeks of madness, Top Ten’s return this week along with Shayna Davis, who is back to bring you another one! This week, Shayna has hit the books to judge all of the females to ever compete on Survivor and has come out the other side with a list of ten, ‘Natural Beauties’, who have maintained their good looks whilst playing the game of Survivor. Will the ‘big name’ female players who have won the game make the cut? Or will out top ten comprise of non-winners? You’ll have to read on to find out, then you can decide who you think deserves to be in the top ten.

Survivor has cast hundreds of attractive ladies. On Day One, they step onto the island in clean clothes, their hair looks great, makeup is applied and their energy is up. As the days go on, we see the effects of Survivor taking its toll on them not only mentally but also physically. Their hair begins to get knotted up, their skin gets covered in bug bugs, scratches and cuts, bags form under their eyes from lack of sleep and they lose their energy and start to look a little run down. However, there are some ladies who despite this entire ordeal still look as stunning on Day Thirty-Nine as they did on Day One. I call these ladies the ‘Nature Beauties’. Don’t get me wrong, there have been plenty of women on Survivor who are attractive, this is just my Top Ten of ladies who have mastered the art of using sand as soap and bamboo as a toothbrush!

 10. Lisa Whelchel – Philippines

Lisa Whelchel knows a thing or two about being on camera. Her Survivor experience marked the first time she appeared on television in twenty years, plus she didn’t spend hours in the hair and makeup department before filming; but it turns out she looks great without it. The island lifestyle definitely agrees with Lisa. The sun tanned her skin, giving her a natural glow as well as enhancing her blonde locks. Lisa flashed her sparkling white teeth all the way to Day Thirty-Nine, but it wasn’t enough to win her the game and she finished in third place.

 9. Natalie White – Samoa

Natalie White is usually remembered as the person Russell Hantz took to the end in ‘Survivor: Samoa’ instead of the Sole Survivor. I am a huge Natalie White fan and think of her in a very positive light and don’t discredit her as a winner. Her entire thirty-nine days she remained the sweet, bubbly southern beauty queen.

8. Jenn Lyon – Palau

Jenn Lyon was the athletic beauty from ‘Survivor: Palau’. Unfortunately, Jenn didn’t get a ton of screen time even though she went on to make the Final Four looking absolutely radiant for thirty-seven days. Jenn tragically passed away in February 2010 and is regarded widely as a true gem in the Survivor world.

7. Julie Berry – Vanuatu

Julie Berry was the young vixen in ‘Survivor: Vanuatu’. Her gorgeous complexion, amazing figure and long flowing brown hair caught the attention of all her fellow competitors, (and those watching at home), until she was doubled-crossed and voted out on Day Thirty-Six.

6. Andrea Boehlke  – Redemption Island & Caramoan

Andrea Boehlke is currently gracing us with her presence once again on the current season of ‘Survivor: Caramoan.’ She made it to Day Thirty-seven in Redemption Island, but the tough Nicaraguan jungle didn’t take down her fighting spirit. When her father came to visit her in the family visit, even he was impressed with how great her hair looked! The adorable blonde fought her way back from Redemption Island only to get voted off soon after. I’m sure many male fans of Survivor are pleased to see her on our screens once again.

5. Natalie Tenerelli – Redemption Island

Natalie Tenerelli joins fellow Redemption Island natural beauty Andrea on the list. Natalie was the gorgeous young castaway that Boston Rob took all the way to Day Thirty-Nine. The hot, Italian brunette sure didn’t let her looks slip away in Nicaragua, finding time to have manicure and pedicure sessions with her fellow female Ometepe tribe mates. Unfortunately for Natalie, her cute looks couldn’t sway any Jury members to vote for her and she finished in third place.

4. Whitney Duncan – South Pacific

Whitney Duncan was the sweet, country singing beauty from South Pacific that we never got to see that much of; in-fact, she has one of the lowest confessional counts of a Jury member in Survivor history. It’s too bad the editors didn’t focus the storyline on her because what she gained from Survivor was love. Twenty-eight days on the island really worked well for Whitney, she strutted around in her bikini and signature flannelette shirt in front of Keith Tollefson and won him over right away. The pair began dated after the show finished filming and have since become engaged.

3. Colleen Haskell – Borneo

Colleen Haskell from Borneo is exactly what Jeff Probst said she was on ‘America’s Tribal Council’ – “the first ever Survivor cutie”. America fell in love with Colleen, her little brown bikini and her pixie hair cut which got wilder and wilder as the days went on. The sun lightened her hair and tanned her skin beautifully. The bugs may have chewed up her legs, but she will forever be the first Survivor cutie.

2. Amber Brkich – Australian Outback & All-Stars

Amber Brkich shocked me in All-Stars. In Australia, she was the boring girl with the full coverage, ugly bikini. After season two, many fans quickly forgot about her and many were shocked when she returned for ‘Survivor: All-Stars’ six seasons later. I was surprised with the way she looked; her skin seemed darker and her bikini was skimpier. I am sure Boston Rob was not the only one checking her out on the island. When she stood in front of the final Jury she looked like she had just returned from the beauty salon. Her long hair was nicely groomed, her skin was flawless and the flickering fire made her beautiful green eyes extra sparkly.

1. Elisabeth Filarski/Hasselbeck – Australian Outback

My number one Survivor ‘Natural Beauty’ is Elisabeth Filarski/Hasselbeck. After Colleen, many fans were wondering who would be the next Survivor cutie. Viewers were very pleased when they first laid eyes on Elizabeth in The Australian Outback. Viewers fell in love with pig-tailed girl in the pink bikini – I’m sure the men wished her bathing suit was a little smaller! The Australian Outback wreaked havoc on her body, she lost a lot of weight, her hair began to fall out and she struggled to perform the duties of daily camp life. However, when she was voted out on Day Thirty-nine, she was just as beautiful as she was on Day One.

What do you think of the top 10? Do you agree? Disagree? Is it in the wrong order or are there ones that didn’t make the top 10 that you feel should’ve? Leave a comment below to let us know your thoughts!

That explains this list Dusty. This isn’t the sexiest contestants, it’s the ‘natural beauties’

I would have switched out whitney with sydney, danni, amanda, or candice. Other than that, great choices.

I would say Candice instead of Whitney but good list. I really wish Survivor would go to the Outback again!
