A strong and strategic player who gained a huge following during the 29th season of San Juan Del Sur, Josh Canfield was part of a series of episodes that both shocked and surprised the viewers with their blindsides and rivalry with fellow tribe member Jeremy Collins. Outside of the show he is one busy man with his blossoming Broadway career, and as we discovered he is also getting recognised by contestants who haven’t even been on the show yet.

survivor_joshcanfield_1200_article_story_largeJosh was a strategic force early in the game and rode a strong strategy that took him to the merge. A ‘battle of the big guns’ soon took over as he battled it out with rival Jeremy, a battle which he would lose and be sent to the jury.

In our chat with Josh he talks about the application process with him and Reed, who he bonded with early, why he found himself never trusting Val, just what happened with Rocker, working with Reed after the switch, the chance of throwing challenges to get rid of Jeremy, living at Ponderosa, jury speeches as well as just how close he was to being on Cambodia and talking up his amazing Broadway career.
