Survivor Cambodia Power Rankings–Week 7

PowerRankingsCambodia_thumb1_thumb_t

For the 31st season of Cambodia we will be once again bringing you our weekly POWER RANKINGS as Ben & Noah are joined by Ozlets Colin & Jarrod to rank the contestants each week based on performance and strategy and where they are perceived to be in the game! We continue our rankings for another week with our episode 7 rankings, which we are sure will cause speculation and debate as we get closer to next weeks episode!

HOW THE RANKINGS ARE CALCULATED

Each week Ben, Noah, Colin & Jarrod will rank the remaining contestants based on their opinion of where they stand in the game, with the four totals being tallied to produce a total score . The lowest total score will be ranked at the top, with the second lowest in second, third lowest in third and so on and so forth. Each week the overall list will be published, separated into two tribes. It will combine into one list once the tribes merge (or two/three should there be a tribe dissolve).

LEADERBOARD

Once again during Cambodia we will be scoring who gets the closest each week with the POWER RANKINGS LEADERBOARD! The ranker who gets their ranking for the previous weeks eliminated contestant will score a point. If they predict the exact finishing position then they will score 2 points. If there are two or more rankers on the same prediction/number, they will both get the said points amount. Here is the leaderboard after this weeks episode:

POS RANKER SCORE
1st Colin Hilding 5
2nd Noah Groves 4
3rd Jarrod Loobeek 3 (+1)
4th Ben Waterworth 2

ORKUN RANKINGS

1st – Jeremy

JeremyS31_thumb1_thumb_thumb_thumb_t

OVERALL: 1st (-)
BEN RANK: 1st
NOAH RANK: 1st
COLIN RANK: 1st
JARROD RANK: 1st

BEN: “Has an idol. Was in the majority. Nobody has even mentioned him as a target. He is in the best position to win this game by far right now..”

NOAH: “It feels strange constantly putting Jeremy up the top, especially after what happened in San Juan Del Sur. There is no denying it though, he is in a great position. It is a far cry from his last merge where Jeremy was a massive target and now he is laying low. He wasn’t involved in any of the arguments, he is close with Stephan, Savage and Joe and he voted in the majority. He also has an idol which no one knows about. I’m not sure if Jeremy can win but he has played a strong game so far and doesn’t appear to be in any immediate danger.”

COLIN: “I’m starting to wonder if anyone can shake Jeremy from the top. What’s working in his favor is that everyone’s name seems to be thrown around except for his. My biggest question is who he is really loyal to. Either we aren’t being told on screen or even Jeremy is keeping that part of his game hidden.”

JARROD: “Seems to have some working alliance with everybody in the game except for Abi and Ciera at this point in time. Is firmly entrenched in the majority and still has the idol under wraps.”

2nd – Spencer

SpencerS31_thumb1_thumb_thumb_thumb_[1]

OVERALL: 2nd (+8)
BEN RANK: 6th
NOAH RANK: 3rd
COLIN RANK: 2nd
JARROD RANK: 4th

BEN: ”Makes himself the go to vote and puts himself into a decent position moving forward. But this is Spencer, it’ll only be a few weeks before he’ll be asking to be saved again. He can easily win this game, his edit alone is screaming WINNERS EDIT but I can also see a blindside coming as well.”

NOAH: “Spencer is starting to get his game going and amazingly he isn’t a big threat to get out, instead everyone wants to work with him. He has built relationships with Fishbach & Collins as well as having past connections to Tasha and attempts at building something with Joe. He voted in the majority and has plenty of options going forward. While Spencer could win, he will no doubt eventually become a target.”

COLIN: “I’m starting to see Spencer’s game come together. Every week we see him changing his approach based on who his interaction is with. He talks feelings with one person and draws lines in the sand with another. If he formed a strong enough bond with Jeremy then his days of playing a game of self-preservation are over…. and it only took 1.5 seasons to gain some control!”

JARROD: “This week we got to see a lot of talk about Joe and Spencer being the swing votes even if that technically didn’t turn out to be the case surely it bodes well for them at this point of the game. Spencer had key conversations with Jeremy, Kelley and we saw the snippet of Savage saying he wouldn’t write his name down again (I doubt that was truthful but we’ll see). While Spencer isn’t part of the Bayon strong group, he has plenty of people to work with if the game shifts.”

3rd – Stephen

StephenS31_thumb1_thumb_thumb_thumb_[2]

OVERALL: 3rd (+2)
BEN RANK: 2nd
NOAH RANK: 2nd
COLIN RANK: 6th
JARROD RANK: 6th

BEN: “He is getting a bigger and bigger edit each week and he is definitely trying hard to get into a spot to make a big move. I just feel as soon as the opportunity comes he’ll be after Joe in a flash, especially now we’re seeing Joe win individual challenges. Look out for him, because he is very dangerous at this point of the game.”

NOAH: “It feels weird putting Stephen up this high as I personally don’t feel like he can win the game. I would gladly be proven wrong however. He is not a threat to anyone and he is a part of a tight alliance with Jeremy and the Bayon’s. Although as we saw a few weeks ago, he doesn’t have a huge say in his team like trying to get Joe out of the game. Stephen should be able to ride under the radar for a few weeks, let’s just hope reciting more poetry doesn’t make people want to vote him out!”

COLIN: “Stephen’s edit has been all over the place. It is getting increasingly hard to figure out where his place is in the game. What he needs to do is lay low like he did this week, and not play too obviously like he did last week. Sadly the preview for next time leads me to believe he’s playing too hard again. I’m anticipating a drop for next week’s rankings.”

JARROD: “It’s really hard to tell what’s happening with Stephen and who knows why that poetry scene was included this week. I feel Stephen’s game is all about making the right move at the right time and not becoming trigger-happy too early. He’s only really been shown as close to Jeremy so far which is a bit of a worry given Savage’s past reservations about working with him.”

4th – Tasha

TashaS31_thumb1_thumb_thumb_thumb_th

OVERALL: 4th (-)
BEN RANK: 8th
NOAH RANK: 4th
COLIN RANK: 3rd
JARROD RANK: 2nd

BEN: “Conflicted on Tasha this week. She did what she needed to do to get people on her side to stay alive but being so out there about lying and being dishonest the next minute is going to throw some people off. I don’t necessarily think that Kass lied to her or was being dishonest but she took her past experiences with her to turn it against her. She won the battle but I don’t think she can win the war.”

NOAH: “Tasha was involved in some arguments and Kass tried to throw her under the bus but I don’t think this will damage her game at all. No one really viewed her as shady and she is a loyal member of the majority alliance. She is good enough in challenges to get by but isn’t the biggest threat. There is a long way to go in the game but Tasha could still win.”

COLIN: “Early in the episode I thought Tasha was in trouble. Either Kass had very little sway over others (including those in her alliance) or Tasha did a really good job at deflecting. Tasha is clearly thinking long term in trying to keep the Bayon alliance quiet. A lot of players could have been shaken by Kass’ attack, but Tasha held it together and apparently nobody questioned her. Unless a major audience blindside is coming, I’m predicting Tasha goes top 5.”

JARROD: “Although she was the target for the minority it felt that was really solely down to Kass and in the end Abi was the only other person to actually vote for her. Nobody believed for a second that she said “bye bye Bayon” which proves just how tight she is with the current majority. Although it appears she’s lost Abi as an ally I wouldn’t be surprised if she reeled her back in if need be.”

5th – Kimmi

KimmiS31_thumb1_thumb_thumb_thumb_th

OVERALL: 5th (+4)
BEN RANK: 3rd
NOAH RANK: 8th
COLIN RANK: 4th
JARROD RANK: 3rd

BEN: “Who is going to target Kimmi right now? She is safe as houses for at least the next 3 or 4 votes and then people might look at her. But she is in the majority, Jeremy seems to love her and others are happy to work with her. Especially now we’re in the individual part of the game she isn’t going anywhere. Can she win? Probably not. But to see Kimmi go deep into the game and perhaps make the final tribal would be epic. Plus it keeps the record alive of an Australian Outback contestant always making the final four on a returning player season with them on it!”

NOAH: “Kimmi is in a fairly good position with a tight alliance and an under the radar status. Despite this there is little chance that Kimmi can win the game and her minimal edit suggest she will be inconsequential to the overall story. It is likely Kimmi will stay near the bottom for however long she is in the game.”

COLIN: “Very subtle seeds have been planted that Kimmi holds some power in this season. For a player who was only significant for a single episode that’s kind of surprising. Jeremy’s side alliance are stealing a lot of screen time and leaving us in the dark on those I believe he truly has loyalty towards, being Kimmi and Tasha.”

JARROD: “We haven’t seen any evidence to suggest that Kimmi is anything other than Bayon strong with the current majority and there’s no real reason for her to be taken out at this point of the game. She’s proved herself loyal to the people who appear to be in charge and that should serve her well moving forward.”

6th – Joe

JoeS31_thumb1_thumb_thumb_thumb_thum[2]

OVERALL: 6th (-)
BEN RANK: 5th
NOAH RANK: 5th
COLIN RANK: 5th
JARROD RANK: 8th

BEN: “The golden boy gets his golden moment to shine and some golden airtime. The ladies must be going crazy. But as soon as he loses that necklace, he is in danger. Can still win the game, but has to keep winning immunity.”

NOAH: “Amazingly everybody doesn’t want Joe out immediately at the merge like they did in Worlds Apart. He was apparently a swing vote and may have formed a mini alliance with Spencer while rekindling his relationship with Savage and Jeremy. Winning the first immunity may make him a target but it is inevitable that he will become a threat soon anyway.”

COLIN: “Although he was profiled heavily I see more negatives in Joe’s game. For one of the obvious swing votes Joe’s screen time was minimal compared to Spencer’s. We’ve already seen him mentioned on multiple occasions as being a dangerous threat come the merge. I just don’t understand how a guy who was surely in a safe spot wouldn’t pass on the first individual immunity. With Kass already mentioning Tasha and others as serious physical threats Joe could have tanked the challenge and taken a huge target off his back. On the plus side he knew which side to go with and is safe another week.”

JARROD: “It feels at this point in time that Joe’s fate is very much in the hands of the other alpha males and he’ll be kept around for as long as people want a shield. It’s hard to say whether or not he made the right decision sticking with Bayon as he may have had a better shot sticking with the Ta Keo bunch and trying to immunity run his way to the end. He’s made no effort to hide his physical prowess this season and he may very well be the most liked guy out there which puts him close to the top of everybody’s chopping block.”

7th – Keith

KeithS31_thumb1_thumb_thumb_thumb_th[1]

OVERALL: 7th (-)
BEN RANK: 4th
NOAH RANK: 9th
COLIN RANK: 8th
JARROD RANK: 5th

BEN: “Similar to Kimmi, who is going to target him? Nobody. He seems very much workable into any plan, and we even saw Kelley basically say he is easily worked into things moving forward. Keith isn’t going anywhere.”

NOAH: “Keith was quick to turn on the Takeo five but I don’t he will be viewed as a big flipper. People aren’t worried about him in the game and he won’t be making any big moves. Keith could go deep in the game but I don’t think these all-star players would vote for him to win. Not to mention his minimal edit.”

COLIN: “Keith is nothing more than a solid vote for whoever is in power. He has no say in how the game is being played, and it may be enough to keep him around for a while.”

JARROD: “Keith was quick to ditch the Ta Keo 5 although his name was really absent from the Bayon conversations around numbers, which could be a worry. Kelley Wentworth felt she had Keith in her back pocket but based on what happened it would appear not. I’m worried Keith is undoing the “work” he put in to be part of a larger alliance and is simply becoming a number that will be discarded when needed.”

8th – Savage

SavageS31_thumb1_thumb_thumb_thumb_t[1]

OVERALL: 8th (+4)
BEN RANK: 7th
NOAH RANK: 6th
COLIN RANK: 7th
JARROD RANK: 7th

BEN: “Savage is such an interesting player this season. One week he is up. Then he is down. One week he is happy. The next week he is telling people to fuck off. It’s amazing to watch and very polarising. He is trying his darndest to play an old school game in a new school world and it works sometimes and other times it doesn’t which leads him to act out the way he does. Could see him winning but I don’t know if I see him surviving that far.”

NOAH: “Savage is doing ok in this game, not bad but very similar to his original game. The conflicts he was involved in this week and how volatile he gets when things don’t go his way will certainly hurt his game and could damage his chances with jury members. Despite this people trust him and want to work with him but I imagine he will become a target when the numbers are dwindled down.”

COLIN: “I have no doubt that Savage’s game is starting to crumble. He is taking everything far more personally than the others left in the game. That is starting to alienate others. He has a strong enough alliance to be safe, and is not a strong enough strategic threat to be put on the chopping block, but I’m calling it now. If anyone in this game has a meltdown it will be Savage.”

JARROD: “Not a great week for Savage as we saw him shown in a begrudging light but nevertheless it’s positive that nobody believed Ciera’s lies to try and throw him under the bus. We saw lots of scenes with him broing down with the guys this week and he seems to possibly be tighter with Jeremy than Tasha right now. Ciera seems to have a vendetta against him right now but it’s going to be difficult for one person to take him out without a major change up.

9th – Kelley

KelleyS31_thumb1_thumb_thumb_thumb_t[2]

OVERALL: 9th (-7)
BEN RANK: 10th
NOAH RANK: 7th
COLIN RANK: 11th
JARROD RANK: 9th

BEN: “The lowest I’ve had her in the entire game and it’s not necessarily a reflection of how I think she will finish as I for sure think she can win this game. She has the smarts to be involved in any possible game changing moves and I definitely think she will try and probably succeed in doing so. Can easily still see her winning this game.”

NOAH: “Kelley isn’t in the best position. She did vote for Kass but assumingly she is still in the minority. She does have something’s going for her though. Ciera has the bigger target on her back, she is not a massive challenge threat and she has an idol that nobody knows about. Kelley is down but she is certainly not out at this point.”

COLIN: “Like everyone else who aligned with Kass this week, Kelley takes a huge hit. She still has the idol to fall back on, but her days could be numbered, and she’s exposed herself as a big gamer right at the merge when paranoia is starting to kick in.”

JARROD: “Kelley falls dramatically this week despite her mentioning winning the game in a confessional, which is usually a good sign. We didn’t get any explanation around her flipping to the majority and we saw her being overconfident about Keith’s loyalties. Some good talk with Spencer on the beach and they could become a formidable duo moving forward. Still has the idol to save herself but doesn’t seem to have many options left.”

10th – Kelly

KellyS31_thumb1_thumb_thumb_thumb_th[1]

OVERALL: 10th (+3)
BEN RANK: 9th
NOAH RANK: 10th
COLIN RANK: 9th
JARROD RANK: 10th

BEN: “Well at least she’s not last right? She is just the de facto “number” in an alliance really. It’s sad. Just like her edit. She is a legend of this game and deserves more respect from the show she was a huge part of making famous.”

NOAH: “For once Wiglesworth was actually voting in the majority but sadly that will probably be her only impact in the game. Her edit is non-existent and she probably isn’t a threat to win the game if she was taken to the end. Show us more Wiglesworth!”

COLIN: “The new Purple Kelly. Much like Keith she is a very easy number for any vote, but has absolutely no power or say in how the game develops.”

JARROD: “Kelly is aligned with Savage so by proxy she’s in the majority alliance yet we still get nothing from her. CBS PLEASE JUST THROW HER A CONFESSIONAL OR TWO, 1. SO WE CAN SEE THE ORIGINAL RUNNER-UP AND 2. SO THAT IT ISN’T COMPLETELY OBVIOUS THAT THE NIGHT SHE STARTS GETTING CONFESSIONALS IS PROBABLY THE NIGHT SHE GOES HOME.”

11th – Abi-Maria

AbiMariaS31_thumb1_thumb_thumb_thumb

OVERALL: 11th (-)
BEN RANK: 11th
NOAH RANK: 11th
COLIN RANK: 10th
JARROD RANK: 11th

BEN: “My pony survives but her days are getting numbered. On the outs of another vote, she’ll be one mad Brazilian next week. Such a shame we never got to see Kass vs Abi in full flight because that would’ve been EPIC!”

NOAH: “It seems like the Abi Maria show is now over for the time being. She hasn’t really been heard from in a few weeks and she is either toning down her annoyance to people or it is no longer important to the story. Either way she voted in the minority and can’t win the game even if she makes it.”

COLIN: “Nothing about her game makes sense to me. I understand why others would want to keep her as an ultimate goat, but her week by week flips don’t compute. Bonus for her that she is the easy goat compared to Ciera and Wentworth”

JARROD: “The only other player to stick with the plan and vote for Tasha it’ll be interesting to see who Abi turns to for an alliance now Will Tasha hold that vote against her and rally the troops against her or are people still looking to take Abi to the end as a goat?”

12th – Ciera

CieraS31_thumb1_thumb_thumb_thumb_th[1]

OVERALL: 12th (-9)
BEN RANK: 12th
NOAH RANK: 12th
COLIN RANK: 12th
JARROD RANK: 12th

BEN: “Limited days left for Ciera. Not entirely smart to join in a bit of a sledging match and then randomly throw Savage under the bus in public. And then to vote Savage will only fuel the flames even more.”

NOAH: “Ciera’s back is against the wall. She was in the majority alliance, tight with Kass and very vocal towards Savage. No doubt people will be wanting to get her out of the game asap. Her vote against Savage and calling him out may hurt her but could be a saving grace to plant seeds in other player’s minds. Ciera is pretty much doomed at this point but this game changes so quickly and Spencers weekly voting block comment could be an indication that Ciera can stick around in the game. For unpredictability’s sake let’s hope so!”

COLIN: “She backed the wrong alliance and went from a comfortable spot to one of the main targets. I’m hoping her calling out of Savage hasn’t sealed her fate. One positive is that it has exposed Savage’s moodiness in the game even further. Still trying to figure out if her vote against her alliance’s plan was an unexplained effort to preserve herself or just another shot at Savage,”

JARROD: “I get the feeling lots of pieces of the past episode where played out of order and the Ciera/Kass group looked like they’d lost the numbers before Ciera decided to step up and throw Savage under the bus. Either way she now has the label of a troublemaker and the other players are probably concerned by how hard she’s playing to win. It’s going to take a sudden change to keep Ciera safe over the coming weeks.”

Our next Power Rankings will be up after the eighth episode! What do you think of our rankings? Agree? Disagree? Let us know your thoughts below!

10 Comments on Survivor Cambodia Power Rankings–Week 7

  1. An absolutely terrible week. The fact that the Bayons got the majority is just way too obvious. Ciera, Abi Maria and Kelley may be on the bottom but the Bayons are idiots if they vote out one of the three smallest girls in the game. Someone desperately needs to make a move next week and get rid of one of the Bayons. All the obvious choices to dominate the game such as Jeremy, Andrew and Tasha are on the Bayon alliance and the fact that they have people like Kimmi, Kelly, and Keith who will no doubt stay loyal is just to obviously. It would truly be a pity if this alliance succeeds because an All Star season like this deserves a better ending.

  2. “seems like the Abi Maria show is now over for the time being” – isn’t that just what they want us to think though? #atleastitsnotshirin

  3. Alex Cousins // November 8, 2015 at 7:21 am // Reply

My order for this week: Jeremy, Joe, Tasha, Stephen, Spencer, Savage, Keith, Kimmi, Kelly, Kelley, Abi, Ciera; However I feel like there will be a power shake-up next week and no one from my Bottom 5 will go home

  4. You guys are all idiots did u just not even bother looking at the preview for next week it is clear that ciera has manipulated Stephan to blindside joe while joe finds out and him and Kelley plan to blindside Stephan. U can even hear Jeremy and Savage saying they need to blindside him… I’m not sure exactly who but it’s definitley not Abi or Ciera so you guys need to pay attention and not be stupid

    • As much as I agree with what you are saying, I wouldn’t call them idiots. I think they make these rankings based on where they stand right after the vote and not based on the preview of next episode. I honestly hope what you’re saying is right because I wouldn’t seeing Stephen go home if it meant Ciera, Abi Maria or Kelley make it another week.

    • If we based the rankings on preview episodes then they would be completely different. And considering 50% of the time previews serve no purpose except to provide a red herring as to what actually happens, it would be foolish to do so

      • Ryan Bralt // November 9, 2015 at 1:17 am //

Not true last week after the preview I new for a fact kass was gone and I was right. BTW u should probably mention that u don’t take into account previews because I’m guessing a lot of people r unaware

      • Power rankings aside, do u guys have a general guess on who u think will win despite what position they’re in right now?

      • Ryan Bralt // November 9, 2015 at 3:48 am //

        Jeremy no doubt.

      • Jeremy seems like the best option but I don’t want him to win. I’m praying for Ciera to pull off a win and I wouldn’t mind if Spencer, Joe, Kelley or Abi Maria (even though she has like no chance) won. Please no original member of the Bayon alliance win.
