5 Comments on Survivor Cambodia Oztopsy – Episode 14

  1. Yeah, this tribal council was crazy, but during the last 5 years there were many stepping stones that led us to this moment e.g.:
    – HvV… while Russell was trying to convince the Heroes, that both him and Parvati played their idols, he told them that there was a revote and that him and Parvati couldn’t vote (and Courtney got voted out 3-1). Worst lie ever!!! And there you have a 3-times player (Rupert) and a winner (JT) eating that up!
    – Nicaragua F6: Jeff was trying to get rid of Dan by default.
    – One World F6 & F5: Just imagine what would have happened if Mike, MamaC and Jenn had made it there with their idols!

I thought that superfans like Spencer and Fishbach would be prepared… and i was shocked to see that they were shocked!

About Keith and anyone else involved in that tribal council… not knowing the rules, or not remembering what rules they signed or they didn’t sign, or not knowing their legal rights isn’t an excuse. If i were playing a game for 1 million of dollars, i would be prepared for anything… and i mean ANYTHING!

The contract states that in case of a deadlock, all non-immune, non-tied contestants are eligible to draw rocks (unless it’s F4 in which case, the tied contenstants will compete against each other in a challenge to be decided in the sole discretion of the producer).

Since there were no rules regarding somebody going home by default… they should have asked Jeff about this scenario (BEFORE forcing a deadlock).

Since they forced a deadlock, the gave production the power to force ANY RULE they wanted!
    – They could send Keith home by default.
    – They could force a fire challenge
    – They could force Kimmi & Tasha & Keith to pick rocks.
    – They could bring back Savage as an outcast πŸ˜›

The contract clearly states (right above the signature space): “I acknowledge that i have received, read and understood the rules, and i agree to abide by and obey the rules, as they may be CHANGED, MODIFIED or AMENDED by producer in its sole discretion from time to time, before production and at any point during production or during a particular challenge”.

Personally if i were Keith, Kelley or Kimmi… i would ask production (legal team) to intervene (BEFORE forcing a deadlock) and i would explain to them that although it was a F6 tribal council, they should apply the F4rules (fire challenge betwenn Kimmi & Tasha), since only 3 people (Kimmi, Keith, Tasha) were eligible to receive votes in the beginning of the 2nd vote, thus resembling a F4 tribal council! πŸ˜‰

PS: It would be awesome if you could bring Kass to discuss this legal matter!
PPS: Sorry for any grammar mistakes. English isn’t my 1st tongue. πŸ˜›
