Happy Birthday Kelly Goldsmith!

Survivor fans around the world stand up and get your birthday hats on as today we celebrate Africa contestant Kelly Goldsmith's 34th Birthday!

Kelly was a member of the Boran tribe and was a member of an alliance that was strengthened by losing early in the game.  After ousting the ill Diane and Jessie, the remaining members came together and started winning. A tribe swap on Day 13 sent Kelly, Lex and Big Tom to the Samburu tribe. She continued winning on the new Samburu, but with a Tribal Council looming, hand signals from former tribe member Kim Johnson and the big mouth of Brandon led Kelly to discover that Lindsey had previous votes and the former Boran tribe targeted her. The merge occurred and even though the former Boran were up 6-4 the first two players to go were from their original tribe.  All the players united to vote out Clarence for being a physical threat. Clarence decided to vote for tribe leader Lex and to honour her word, Teresa also voted with Clarence. This sent Lex on a “witch-hunt” to take out the cancer in his former tribe. Kelly was on the outer fringe of the alliance on old Boran and was blamed for the rogue vote. She was targeted for the vote and was able to form a counter strike against Lex, but Brandon stepped up and saved Lex and Kelly was sent packing 5-4.  Her individuality and strength led to her ultimate demise.

Unfortunately we have yet to interview Kelly, although we look forward to eventually hearing from her!
