Ozcars 2013–The Winners

Well after three weeks of voting, it all comes down to this! The winners of the prestigious Ozcars have been announced, and there certainly were a few surprises along the way! We had a massive response to the entire Ozcars, with over 1200 votes received in the final round alone, bringing the total number of votes to just under 2000! This was close to four times as many as we received in 2012! In each of the categories there were several upsets, with many of the first round leaders failing to capitalise on their lead and dropping back in the rankings. Below we list each of the winners of each of the categories, as well as show the final voting percent of each final round. In the coming days we will be revealing the top 25 of each category, so if you are still upset your favourite didn’t make the finals of a category, you’ll soon be able to see just how close they came!

The 2013 Ozcar winners are:

BEST FIRST BOOT

Francesca dominated this category and easily takes out her first ever Ozcar! The final round of voting for ‘Best First Boot’ ended up like this:

BEST PRE-MERGE PLAYER

Colton surged into the win after knocking off pre finals favourite Brian Corridan to win his first ever Ozcar! The final round of voting for ‘Best Pre-Merge Player’ ended up like this:

BEST JURY MEMBER

Cirie takes out her first Ozcar after upstaging Eliza in the final round of voting! The final round of voting for ‘Best Jury Member’ ended up like this:

BEST LOCATION

Palau faced a tough battle with the Cook Islands in this category, but walked away with Ozcar glory! The final round of voting for ‘Best Location’ ended up like this:

SEXIEST MALE

Malcolm was the dark horse for the award in 2013 and took out the honours by knocking off the reigning champion Colby! The final round of voting for ‘Sexiest Male’ ended up like this:

SEXIEST FEMALE

Nobody even came close to challenging Parvati for her second consecutive Ozcar in this category! The final round of voting for ‘Sexiest Female’ ended up like this:

BIGGEST HERO

Tom storms to his first Ozcar victory after knocking off Colby for this award! The final round of voting for ‘Biggest Hero’ ended up like this:

BIGGEST VILLAIN

Russell was always going to win this category, and he did so in dominant fashion to claim his first Ozcar! The final round of voting for ‘Biggest Villain’ ended up like this:

BEST NEW PLAYER

Malcolm becomes the first multiple winner in the Ozcars in a single year as he takes his second statue home for best new player! The final round of voting for ‘Best New Player’ ended up like this:

BEST SURVIVOR OZ INTERIVEW

Amazingly this is Boston Rob’s first ever Ozcar, and thoroughly deserved after an extremely entertaining interview! The final round of voting for ‘Best Survivor Oz Interview’ ended up like this:

BEST SEASON

Back to back wins for Heroes vs Villains as it once again completely dominated this category! The final round of voting for ‘Best Season’ ended up like this:

BEST PLAYER NEVER TO HAVE WON

Cirie pulls off an upset and knocks off reigning champion Rob C to win her second Ozcar! The final round of voting for ‘Best Player Never To Have Won’ ended up like this:

BEST WINNER

A second Ozcar win this year for Parvati and her third overall as she vaults last years winner Kim to take out the prize! The final round of voting for ‘Best Winner’ ended up like this:

GREATEST PLAYER OF ALL TIME

An amazing upset makes Parvati the darling of this years Ozcars, taking out her third Ozcar for the year and the most important one to boot! The final round of voting for ‘Greatest Player Of All Time’ ended up like this:

LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD

The Survivor Oz crew all voted for three people deserving of the first ever ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’ and Jeff Probst came out on top after a close battle with Mark Burnett!
