Ozcars 2015–The Winners
Well after two & a half weeks of voting, it all comes down to this! The winners of the prestigious Ozcars have been announced, and there certainly were a few surprises along the way! We had a massive response to the entire Ozcars, with over 3000 votes received in the final round alone! In each of the categories there were several upsets, with many of the first round leaders failing to capitalise on their lead and dropping back in the rankings. Below we list each of the winners of each of the categories, as well as show the final voting percent of each final round. In the coming days we will be revealing the top 25 of each category, so if you are still upset your favourite didn’t make the finals of a category, you’ll soon be able to see just how close they came!
The 2014 Ozcar winners are:
BIGGEST HERO 2014/15
Mike was never challenged in this category and walks away with his first ever Ozcar award!
BIGGEST VILLAIN 2014/15
A closely fought battle with his Worlds Apart colleague Rodney saw Dan pull out where it mattered and win!
SEXIEST NEW MALE 2014/15
Never challenged, Joe romps to his first Ozcar
SEXIEST NEW FEMALE 2014/15
Tight at the start in this category before Jaclyn pulled out to win and give San Juan Del Sur some love!
BEST NEW PRE-JURY PLAYER 2014/15
Kelley was never challenged in this category and showed why she was brought back for Cambodia with such a popular fan base!
BEST NEW JURY PLAYER 2014/15
The closest of all the categories this year, Shirin edged forward at the death to take her first ever Ozcar!
BEST NEW PLAYER 2014/15
Closely fought out between the two winners in the last 12 months, Natalie pips Mike to take her first Ozcar!
BEST SURVIVOR OZ INTERVIEW 2014/15
She holds the record for longest ever interview, and now Kass takes away the statue for best interview in the last 12 months! Well done Kass!
OZLET OF THE YEAR 2014/15
Noah has to play bridesmaid again as Kate romps to her first ever Ozcar win!
BEST SURVIVOR MEDIA 2014/15
The most one sided category in this years Ozcars, RHAP was always going to win this category and did so in style
BEST ALL TIME 3RD BOOT
Maybe not the award Yau-Man wanted to win, but he did anyway! Congratulations!
SEXIEST MALE OF ALL TIME
Malcolm wins back the award he won in 2013! Much to the delight of many!
SEXIEST FEMALE OF ALL TIME
Four years of this award and her fourth win! Only this year she can win it back by herself!
BEST SEASON OF ALL TIME
Controversially lost out last year, Heroes vs Villains takes it back again in 2015!
BEST PLAYER NEVER TO HAVE WON
Cirie becomes the first person to win this award twice, taking back the award she won in 2013!
BEST WINNER
Amazing to think this is the first time Sandra has won this category! But she finally does it!
GREATEST PLAYER OF ALL TIME
And Sandra does it again by winning this category for a second time, and making it her third overall Ozcar! Congratulations Sandra!
LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD
In the only non-public voted award, Russ Landau narrowly wins this years lifetime achievement award! And deservingly so! Congratulations Russ!

I tried my best but my 705 votes weren’t enough to get you to the promised land. You need to convince your mom to vote more than once.
My thoughts:
Biggest Hero — YES!! Voted a lot for Mike and so glad it payed off!!!
Biggest Villain — I voted for Rodney but Dan is a solid choice too. I thought Dan was a villain as a person and Rodney a villain as a person and a player but they were very close. Not disappointed.
Sexiest New Male — Yep!
Sexiest New Female — I voted Sierra but Jaclyn is a solid choice.
Best New pre-jury — YES!! I was SO hoping Kelley would win this one!!!
Best new jury player — Jeremy and Tyler are clearly better players, but Shirin is one of my all time favorite players, so no complaining.
Interview — I voted Spencer because he was my favorite on the roster but I don’t listen to the interviews so who am I to judge, but I had to vote for someone.
Ozlet — Noah was robbed! Kate is a good choice, though.
Media — No doubt! S-Oz is my favorite and RHAP is my second.
Best third boot — YEP! Perfect choice!
Sexiest Ever Male — Fabio is my all time favorite but Malcolm totally deserved it!
Sexiest Ever Female — Parvati rightfully earned this one! And so glad that that brat Morgan didn’t tie her like last year!
Best Season — Blood vs Water is my all time favorite but Heroes vs Villains is a good winner. I think Cagayan is almost just as good though.
Best Non-winner — There was perhaps no category I wanted the person I wanted to win to win more than this one. Congratulations Cirie! I am so glad.
Best Winner — Bad choice. Sandra is a great player, but not winner. Neither of her games were close to the likes of Kim, Yul, Tony, Todd, Brian, Mike, and Parvati. Yul is IMHO the best “winner” ever and Tony the second. I really wish one of them had one.
Greatest Player — Parvati I think is the greatest player ever. Her Micronesia game should have warranted her a spot in the Top 5 winners, and I think she should have won Heroes vs Villains. However, you can’t argue with the stats, and I am not disappointed that Sandra won this one!
Kelley sucked on SJDS. She got vote purely from kissing the fans’ asses.
Parvati sucks her Micronesia win was probably the most luck filled win probably earning her worst winner. She totally had an awful social game in HvV. totally useless in CI. OVERRATED. Parvati kind of sucks for a winner.
Sylvia was robbed!
She is a top 20 -CONTESTANT- of all time, let alone 3rd boot… so that should have been a landslide.
But what can you do?
Sylvia Top 20 contestant of all time?! I hardly remember her!!!
Now, Yau-Man isn’t even a Top 20 player ever IMHO but easily Top 10 player to never have won given his game in Fiji, and that is why he went so early (third boot) in Micro. Totally deserved third boot award!!! Soooo much more than Sylvia!!!
Dan beat Mike for sexiest new male
There really should be a N/A option for all the (straight) guys who just troll the Sexiest Male categories…
Glad to see Sandra finally get the credit she deserves! I was tired seeing people like Parvati take the award. I mean Parvati is great player, but I don’t think she ever would have won Micronesia if her performance in cook islands was so lack luster. The same goes for Boston Rob in All stars and Tyson in BvW. Don’t get me wrong the three are among the best winners and players to have ever played, but they had an advantage by not being percieved as big threats when they started the second time around.
Sandra on the other hand wins her first time and manages to convince people she’s a perfect candidate to take to the end and wins.
I will say though that Chris should win one of these years for winning a season that the producers sabotaged him and all the men to lose.
I didn’t know coattail riders and floaters could be the best player in survivor
It’s all subjective to a certain degree. Looking at it objectively all you have to do is look at the bottom line. Get to the end and get the other people in the game to vote for you. It doesn’t matter how many idols you find, how many challenges you win, how many power moves you make, the only thing that matters is putting those fuckers on the jury and then getting them to vote you winner and a million dollars. Contrary to popular belief coat tail riding is a valid strategy. Like or not but until someone goes 2 for 2 can they even be considered. To say otherwise defies all logic.
I know! Thankfully Sandra beat out Parvati though.
I think we’re hopefully getting to a stage in Survivor where coat tail riding is frowned upon. Missy, Monica, and Woo didn’t fare too well. I don’t even like the way Sandra plays but you can’t argue with her success. Not a fan of Parvati either. That shit eating smirk of hers drives me nuts.
I feel good. Cirie and Queen Sandra … all is right with the world.
